Who are we?

The Blue Wires were formed out of the ashes of two great Boston bands, Catapult and Baby Strange. Rock music will never be the same. With blazing guitars, melodic bass lines, and flavorful drums, the Blue Wires know how to kick ass.

New Music

Picked up the Gutter Twins CD, the new collaboration between Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan.  Its fantastic, I recommend you check it out.  I see the Black Crowes have their 1st new album in 7 years out now too, Warpaint.  Sounds like some good tunes there too.

I have the new Black Crowes record, and surprisingly, it’s not bad at all. Actually, it’s probably their best album since Amorica, although it’s not nearly as good as that record. That’s saying a lot since they’ve released 3 studio albums between Amorica and War Paint.

My full review of the album, as well as my out pouring of love for the Crowes’ second album, The Southern Harmony and the Musical Companion, will be coming soon.
