Who are we?

The Blue Wires were formed out of the ashes of two great Boston bands, Catapult and Baby Strange. Rock music will never be the same. With blazing guitars, melodic bass lines, and flavorful drums, the Blue Wires know how to kick ass.

Upcoming gig at the Middle East club

The Blue Wires will be playing the legen-wait for it-dary Middle East, upstairs, in Cambridge on Friday September 5th. This should be a great show. If you missed the Blue Wires first show a couple of weeks ago at the Abbey Lounge, then you should definitely checkout this show. It’s almost unheard of for a new band to get a Friday night gig at the Middle East, especially for it’s second show! Not only that, but the Blue Wires are headlining!

You can familiarize yourself with some of the Blue Wires tracks, including a couple of live tracks, here.

Here is the lineup for the ‘big show’:

  1. Sad Bastard Goes Pop
  2. The Lights Out
  3. Fugitive Kind (Digital Album Release Party)
  4. The Blue Wires (Headlining)
